Tech and Law Center is happy to announce that Marco Mendola, for his dedication to the Association, his contribution with passion and the loyalty to his fellow members, has been awarded official fellow of the Center.
Marco is a researcher in IT Law. He is Adv. LL.M. Candidate in Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University (The Netherlands), awarded LExS Gold – Leiden Excellence Student 2014. He holds a master’s degree in law (magna cum laude) from the University of Turin (Italy) with a final thesis in procedural guarantees and biometrics. Marco’s research is mainly focused on digital social media and fundamental rights. His recent studies are centered on presumption of innocence and ‘predictive policing’ application in the EU legal framework. He is a contributor to the Tech and Law Center and Media Laws blogs.
